In its official story, NISHANE places Istanbul at the centre of its inspiration: a city of traditions, contemporary perspectives and cultural encounters. That starting point does not become a single fragrance style. Its collections explore different ideas, images and compositions.
Hacivat: citrus, pineapple and a woody foundation
Hacivat draws inspiration from a character in traditional shadow theatre. Its official pyramid opens with bergamot, pineapple and grapefruit. Jasmine, patchouli and cedar form the heart, while oakmoss and woody accents underline its chypre structure. This is a different direction from a purely sweet fruity perfume.
Wūlóng Chá X: tea with floral softness
In Wūlóng Chá X, citrus meets green tea, thyme and magnolia. Musk and fig complete the base. The house presents it as a softer, floral reinterpretation of the original Wūlóng Chá—an important reminder that X is part of the fragrance's exact name.
Fan Your Flames: a warm gourmand contrast
The original Fan Your Flames combines coconut and rum at the top, tobacco and tonka in the heart, and oakmoss and Chinese cedar in the base. Here the direction is warmer and more gourmand. Fan Your Flames X is a separate interpretation and should not be confused with the original when choosing or ordering.
One house, different preferences
Our suggestion is to explore NISHANE by fragrance direction rather than expect all of its perfumes to feel alike. Compare tea, chypre and gourmand profiles. Note the type of contrast that attracts you and use that observation when you choose your next scent.
